County Commissioner Candidate Ronnie Vitulli Prioritizes Lowering Your Tax Bill

One of my biggest priorities as County Commissioner for Precinct 2 is to lower your tax bill. I don’t mean just the tax rate, but your tax bill. I am the only candidate running for County Commissioner Precinct 2 that can say they have done it before and will fight to do it at the county level. In this article from The Eagle dated March 13, 2012, in Kurten, where I was the mayor and in charge of developing and getting the budget approved, we lowered the tax rate enough to offset the rising evaluations. This can and must be done at the county level. In the near future, I will be releasing examples of homes throughout Precinct 2 and what has happened to their county tax bill over the past 10 years. Two of my opponents have voted for a Brazos County budget, the 2021 & 2022 budget that raised our tax bill we pay Brazos County. This is a fact. May I suggest you go to and look at the facts. When I left office in 2018 we had reduced the tax rate to .102235 from .15426 when I took office in 2008 and continued to allow citizens to keep their hard earned money.
